More Workshop Details

Workshops are held on the Pomona College campus (exact 2018 location pending). During the workshop, college space is transformed into a comfortable workshop environment. Each student is allotted an individual work table and work light. Large tools are available at the site, but attendees must provide their own hand tools and clamps.

Tools may be shipped to the event host prior to arrival. More information is provided upon enrollment.

Reasonably-priced accommodations are available in a college dorm within walking distance of the workshop location and Claremont Village. Dorm rooms are secure, ample, and clean, and each participant gets a private room. Coin laundry facilities are available on site.

Workshop tuition includes daily breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday for violin making participants, and all five days of the workshop for bow making participants. Breakfast and lunch are full all-you-can-eat buffets, including vegetarian and vegan options, as well as items cooked to your request. Evening meals are often available for purchase for approximately $10.
